

Deliveries under government orders in January-February 2025 amounted to 127.6 million packages of drugs worth 221.7 billion rubles. On average, 1,518 rubles were spent per Russian. As for the retail commercial market, the volume of drug sales in monetary terms reached 295 billion rubles, which is 11% higher than the same period of the previous year. On average, private spending on the purchase of a drug per person for 2 months of 2025 amounted to 2,022 rubles, according to a report by the analytical company AlphaRM.
Analysts recorded the highest expenditure on drug provision in the Urals Federal District - 1,889 rubles per person, which is 16% higher than last year's figures. The lowest expenditure was recorded in the North Caucasus Federal District - 1,030 rubles. At the same time, significant growth was recorded here: +77% compared to the same period in 2024.
The highest per capita expenditure on the retail commercial market among federal districts was in the Central Federal District – 2,341 rubles (+12), the lowest – in the North Caucasus Federal District – 983 rubles (+14%).
